The easy answer to this question is of course, whenever there is a Glow Retreat running! But honestly, Ibiza is a gorgeous island to visit at any time of year. Our team at Glow Retreats have been running successful retreats on the island since 2010. The island's unique blend of natural beauty, spiritual energy, and vibrant culture make it an ideal location for our transformative itineraries, but when should you make a beeline to the White Isle?

When do we run Glow Retreats in Ibiza?

Glow Retreats Ibiza offers several retreat sessions throughout the spring and early summer, with dates in April, May, and June. This allows guests to experience the island during spring and early summer dates and take advantage of the mild, pleasant weather, at what we think is the best time to visit Ibiza.

Is Ibiza warm all year round?

In general, yes. Ibiza enjoys a Mediterranean climate with mild winters, but the island does experience seasonal variations in temperature and weather patterns. Summers are generally hot and dry, while winters are cooler with some rain and grey days.

What is the average temperature in Ibiza?

On average, Ibiza sees daytime temperatures ranging from around 16°C (61°F) in the winter months to 30°C (86°F) in the summer. The shoulder seasons of spring and fall tend to be warm and sunny, making them ideal times to visit, so we run the majority of our Glow wellness and yoga retreats in these temperate months.

What is the hottest month?

August is typically the hottest month in Ibiza, with average highs around 30°C (86°F). This makes it a popular time for visitors, so beaches and clubs are busy in this high season.

When is the cheapest time to visit?

The low season in Ibiza is generally from November to April, when temperatures are cooler and rainfall increases. This can be a good time to visit, with more affordable accommodation, more affordable flights and enjoy a quieter, more peaceful atmosphere on the island.

What is the ideal climate for a wellness and yoga retreat?

The mild, sunny weather of the spring season is considered by many to be the ideal climate for a relaxing and rejuvenating yoga and wellness retreat. Temperatures are comfortable for outdoor activities, and the island's natural beauty is on display. Since spring is a great time of year for new beginnings, there can be seasonal significance in attending a Glow Retreat at this time of the year for many, too.

Is there an off-season in Ibiza?

While Ibiza is a year-round destination, the island does have a distinct off-season from November to April, when tourism numbers are lower and many businesses operate on reduced hours or close entirely. This can be a great time to experience the island's more tranquil, local side, as long as you don’t mind some places being closed.

What if it rains during the retreat?

Even during the drier months, Ibiza can occasionally experience some rainfall. However, we are well-prepared to adapt our programming to accommodate inclement weather, with indoor spaces and alternative activities available. The retreats are designed to provide a nurturing, supportive environment regardless of the weather. (But the sun almost always shows up!)
